Basket Camp Upper Peninsula!
We are excited to hit the road and weave with you all! Basket Camp comes to the Upper Peninsula in Gwinn, Michigan! Join us for three full days of weaving amidst the pine forests.
Instructor: Zac Fittipaldi
Zac began his basketry journey nearly two decades ago with a year-long apprenticeship under renowned basket teacher Margret Mathewson. Since then, he has explored the depths of basketry, working with materials such as willow, black ash, bark baskets, and soft twine. Zac has taught hundreds of students basketry and cares for his willow farm featuring over a dozen varieties of basketry willow.
Zac will be joined by Maddy Boler, who will assist with weaving and be available for any questions.
